Testimonials

I came to see Margaret after my husband and I had been trying unsuccessfully for a baby for four years. We had experienced failed IVF attempt and I as told my fertility was so low I would not be able to conceive. Margaret was my last hope. At the beginning of 2012 I visited Margaret for several treatments. In July 2012 I discovered I was pregnant, naturally, and I was carrying twins. My beautiful girls were born prematurely in December, small but perfect. With Margaret’s help we finally have the family we longed for. I cannot express my gratitude enough to this wonderful, professional lady. I would recommend Margaret to any woman struggling to conceive. Miracles can and do happen!

I first went to Margaret for treatment for curvature of my lower spine, but she also helped me with anaemia, stomach ulcers and arthritis which was affecting my jaw, wrist, fingers, knees, elbows and ‘curled toes’. I cannot begin to explain how Margaret’s needles and dedicated expertise, has helped me to cope with a lot of pain in the last 3 years.

Best decision I made and without the side effects of some tablets. Recommend anyone to give it a try.

I first went to Margaret in September last year with headaches due to cervical spondylitis and anxiety. I also suffered with sleep problems. After the first few treatments the headaches had gone and after months of sleepless nights I was finally getting restful sleep. For the first time in many years I have not suffered from the Winter SAD syndrome. I highly recommend Margaret as a friendly professional lady who really puts you at ease.

As a person who suffers from acute neck and shoulder pain, I found acupuncture to be an effective from of getting some pain relief. I have attended Margaret’s clinic for many years, where each session is always administered in a professional and courteous manner. On each of my appointments Margaret discusses with me the best way to try and achieve maximum results. Some of my family and friends who have also been to Margaret noticed an improvement of their condition. Why be long suffering when perhaps a course of acupuncture treatment may be able to help, as it did with me?

I started coming to see Margaret for acupuncture due to fertility issues. Margaret’s treatment was an important part of our IVF journey. I really enjoyed my acupuncture experience. I was made to feel completely at ease and Margaret explained everything she did as she went along. I have today a little boy thanks to her treatment. She changed my life and I will always be grateful to her. She has also done wonders with back problems, relieving symptoms straight away. Margaret is very knowledgeable and professional while being extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

As a result of a fall 11 years ago I sustained injuries to my neck and shoulder and was recommended I should try acupuncture treatment to alleviate the pain by an osteopath, who introduced me to Margaret McNeill. I have been receiving regular treatment since then, which has been beneficial in easing the pain in my neck and shoulder region. Some 3 to 4 years ago I developed lower back pain and was referred to a neurologist who diagnosed osteoarthritis. During our discussion I mentioned that I had regular acupuncture and the consultant recommended that I should continue with the treatment. I can quite honestly say the acupuncture is totally beneficial to me in easing the pain and discomfort without the need to take medication.

I would recommend Margaret McNeill for Acupuncture, to anyone seeking this amazing branch of self-help medicine. Margaret always has time to listen and is very sympathetic. She will explain in detail what you can expect, and how it works. She has helped me immensely over the years. You can go along for a “tune up” every few weeks, just to keep things in balance, or you may have a specific problem to address. In any event it is a painless, relaxing experience.

I had 3 operations to remove very large fibroids from my womb. Unfortunately this left me with severe pain each month down my left leg, when I had my period. This was due to the pressure on my nerve endings from the monthly uterus swelling. Margaret was
Recommended to me by the osteopath who had tried to sort the problem. After my first session the pain was much less, and after the second session was just a dull ache. After 3 sessions I no longer experienced any pain. I now see Margaret every 8 weeks, out of choice, not necessity, to maintain my body’s balance and energy. I cannot recommend Margaret highly enough, not only for her professional help but her warmth and humour.

I have suffered with severe migraines from the age of 11 years. I was advised to see an acupuncturist and went to see Margaret. The treatment has proved successful after many years of suffering. Margaret immediately put me at ease; she is very friendly, caring, understanding and professional. I have seen her for various health conditions since and all have proved helpful. I would highly recommend Margaret to anyone.

I had always known conception would be difficult for me as I had been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in my early 20’s. Some friends had been in a similar situation and spoke glowingly of Margaret McNeill. So in October 2013 I met Margaret. I decided to first prepare my body with acupuncture before attempting to become pregnant as I was very stressed, having just relocated, and in pain from sciatica. Margaret was the best thing I did for myself in a week – 45 minutes to just stop and listen to my body. She is so gentle, wise, humble and also a huge amount of fun. The sessions fly by and I trust her integrity completely. Within a few sessions, the sharp stabbing pain in my hip had completely stopped. After few weeks later, my husband and I felt ready to try for a baby and were successful almost immediately. I am now 9 weeks pregnant and have thus far experienced no nausea or sickness which I completely attribute to acupuncture. This all sounds extremely prescriptive, but what Margaret does, she does with extreme calm, stillness and honesty. She has been there in moments of deep sadness, joy and laughter and brought much needed calm and balance, professionalism and humanity. I would not hesitate to recommend Margaret and her work to anyone.
